Professor Csikszentmihalyi is the director of the Quality of Life Research Center (QLRC) at Claremont Graduate University in California.. The QLRC is a non-profit research institute that studies "positive psychology"; that is, human strengths such as optimism, creativity, intrinsic motivation, and responsibility.
