Biographical and Professional InformationMarilu Henner is an actress who is best known for her roles on the hit TV series Taxi and Evening Shade. She is also the bestselling author of Marilu Henner's Total Health Makeover and The 30-Day Total Health Makeover. She lives in Los Angeles, California, with her husband, Robert Lieberman, and their two sons. Born "Mary Lucy Denise Henner" in Chicago, Illinois, to a Greek mother and Polish father. Marilu's father and brother changed the family name from "Pudlowski" to "Henner" for business purposes. Henner was raised on the northwest side of Chicago, Illinois, in the Logan Square neighborhood. Her mother, Loretta, was president of the National Association of Dance and Affiliated Arts and ran the Henner Dance School for 20 years.
