Connection to Illinois: I was born in Streator, Illinois in 1957 and moved to St. Charles, Illinois with my family in 1969. After graduating from St. Charles High School, I attended Elgin Community College, Aurora College, and Northern Illinois University. I moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1983 and eventually earned my Ph. D. at Georgia State University in 1989. I now reside in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

Biography: I write non-fiction, specializing in film and theater biographies, and crime fiction. In addition to writing, I teach Public Speaking at the college level.
