Illinois Connection

Author was raised in Sesser, Illinois from the age of 5 to 18 where he attended Sesser-Valier High School, attended school at the University of Illinois - Urbana-Champaign from 1989-1993 and now lives in Loves Park, Illinois from 2002 to present. The author's first book, The Centennial: A Journey through America's National Park System, is the first narrative ever published covering all 419 units in our National Park System, including the two Illinois parks, Lincoln Home NHS and Pullman NM. The author describes his travels to visit all the existing NPS units while living in Illinois, so the story in The Centennial is based in Illinois.
