Vicki Lipe
Born: Vincennes, Indiana 1956
Connection to Illinois: Lipe is a Carbondale native. She received her undergraduate degree at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale and her Masters at St. Xavier in Chicago. She has lived in Galesburg, for thirty-five years, where she has taught high school English/speech/drama. Biography: Vicki Lipe is now retired from teaching and has recently published her first book, Discovering Amazing Animal Babies, a children's book of haiku poetry featuring colorful illustrations.
