Taylor lived in Chicago from 2005 - 2013 while serving a year as an American Council on Education (ACE) Fellow with a placement at Kent State University and while working at DePaul University.

Biographical and Professional Information

Jacqueline Taylor had more than 30 years of experiences as both an academic and an administrator at DePaul University in Chicago. While there, she was the Director of the DePaul University Humanities Center, the Associate VP Academic Affairs and went on to be the Founding Dean of the College of Communication. She also taught in the areas of performance studies, women's studies and gender and communication. Her essays have been published in Text and Performance Quarterly, Southern Speech Communication Journal, and Women's Studies in Communication. Taylor grew up in Kentucky, where she received her BA in English and Communication Arts from Georgetown College. She earned both her MA and PhD in Performance Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. She is currently the Provost and VP for Academic Affairs at The College of New Jersey.
