Pen Name: None Connection to Illinois: Brill was born in Chicago. She grew up on the northwest side of Chicago in the West Rogers Park neighborhood. She currently resides in Wilmette. Biography: Marlene Targ Brill has been writing books for many years. She started writing while teaching children with disabilities, producing materials to help her students learn. It didn't take long for her to start writing for readers of all ages.
