Pen Name: None Connection to Illinois: I was born in Bloomington, Illinois, and raised primarily in Elmhurst, Illinois. I attended Edison Elementary School in Elmhurst, and then Sandburg Junior High School before going on to York Community High School (also in Elmhurst); geaduating in 1979. I went to Western Illinois University in Macomb where I graduated with a Masters in European and Asian history. I currently live in Chadwick, Illinois. Biography: I have worked at Lawndale News for over 20 years. I dealt with the Latino communities in Chicago, Cicero and Berwyn as part of my work for the newspaper.
