Catherine Lantz
Born: 1977 in Moreno Valley, California
Pen Name: None Connection to Illinois: I moved from California to Chicago in 2000 after completing my undergrad degree. My first book, on the history of Hawthorne Works , in Cicero, Illinois (coauthored with Dennis Schlagheck) came directly from my experience working as a reference librarian at Morton College (home of the Hawthorne Works Museum). Biography: I worked as a reference librarian at Morton College and a tour guide/lecturer for the Hawthorne Works Museum from 2008-2012. I currently serve as the Reference and Liaison Librarian to the Life Sciences at University of Illinois, at Chicago.
