Based on the author’s, son, Camden, who has special needs, this book highlights the exceptionality of Camden as a character known as “Bouge Bouge” (similar to the word “book” with a soft g like the word “giant”). Camden has a syndrome called Cri Du Chat and faces many challenges both physically and mentally. Bouge Bouge teaches his friends that even though he experiences the world differently, he is able to see beauty in small things. At the same time, encouraging others around him to do the same. This book hopes to spread acceptance and understanding of all individuals with special needs and to teach others to love one another.
