Pen Name: None Connection to Illinois: Fargo grew up in the North Shore suburb of Highland Park, IL. After earning a B. A. in Spanish at Amherst College in Massachusetts, studing in Madrid and Jerusalem, and working for an extended period in London, Fargo returned to Chicago. Biography: Farto has served as freelance translator and Spanish tutor, and for several years he taught converational Spanish at Chicago's DePaul University.
