Biography: Vicki Bennington has written for The Telegraph in Alton, Illinois for a number of years. Her current book, 'A Life in Parts' was co-authored with Daniel Brannan of Glen Carbon, Illinois and is about the horrific experience and remarkable recovery of Loretta Goebel, who grew up in Shipman, Illinois, lived in Sycamore, Illinois for many years and also currently lives in Godfrey, Illinois.
