Pen Name: None Connection to Illinois: I have lived in the Chicago suburbs for over 14 years now. My book City Doodles - Chicago is full of fun facts about Chicago. My book Women of Steel and Stone covers women who designed many Chicago buildings. Biography: Anna M. Lewis is an award-winning toy inventor, author, illustrator and creativity advocate. Author of WOMEN OF STEEL AND STONE: 22 Inspiring Architects, Engineers, and Landscape Designers (Chicago Review Press 2014), CITY DOODLES - CHICAGO (Gibbs Smith 2013), and several children's magazines. Anna encourages students to think creatively in her author presentations and in classes that she teaches on cartooning, game design, and monster imaginations in the schools, through her company, ''Ideasplash''. Anna currently lives in Illinois with her wildly creative family and Lucy, an Old English Sheepdog, who patiently piles tennis balls at Anna's feet while she writes.
