Pen Name: None Connection to Illinois: Marilyn Moore and her husband lived in Hoopeston, Illinois from 1954 through 1997 when she retired to Arizona. Biography: Marilyn Moore began her writing career as a self-published author. After bringing out her first cookbook she was able to secure an agent from Goodman Associates in New York. She also organized and presented workshops on the subject of self-publishing.
