Pen Name: None Connection to Illinois: In 1979 Professor Redfield joined the faculty at Sangamon State University, which was merged with the University of Illinois in 1995. Biography: Kent D. Redfield is an emeritus professor of Political Science at the University of Illinois at Springfield. Since 1979, he has been a research fellow with the Institute for Legislative Studies. Dr. Redfield has also been director of the ''Sunshine Project'' - a campaign finance research project, since 1997. His research has been presented in many reports, a series of articles in Illinois Issues, and two books - Cash Clout and Money Counts. He was also contributor to the ''Almanac of Illinois Politics''.
