Born: 1945 in Astakos, Greece
Pen Name: None Connection to Illinois: Holaves emigrated to Danville, Illinois in 1954. He received his BS at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois and his MS at the University of Illinois in Urbana. He currently resides in Roscoe, Illinois. Biography: Holaves is an author, poet and publisher. His books are bilingual and his poetry has been published in Midwest magazines and papers. He runs Astakos Publishing with his wife.
