Eddie Mabry
Born: 1936 in Brownsville, Tennessee
Pen Name: None Connection to Illinois: Mabry lives in Decatur and serves as Minister of Christian Education and Associate Minister at New Salem Baptist Church. He was an Associate Professor of the History of Christianity at Augustana College in Rock Island. Biography: Eddie Mabry has a Master of Divinity Degree and PhD in Church History from Princeton Theological Seminary in New Jersey. He has been teaching at the college level since 1969 and has taught in Illinois, Alabama and Oklahoma. Mabry has also written numerous articles that have appeared in journals.
