In September 2009 Linda founded Unlimited Success, a (501c3) Not-For-Profit, under which she mentored children in Chicago Public Schools. Her passion and love for children prompted her to realize that there was a need for a program that would reach families and reframe or enhance their outlook on life. In August 2018 Linda wrote and published Volume 1 of her first children's book entitled 'A Positive Note'. She published the book while branding four characters in the book with the main character being a warm big red fuzzy character named 'A Positive Note'. She continues to write the next volumes of her 'A Positive Note' book series and design t-shirts. 'A Positive Note' is an entity under Linda's entertainment company, Distinct Entertainment Group, LLC. Volume I of, 'A Positive Note', includes a Teacher's Guide and the words of a happy, positive song, also entitled 'A Positive Note,' are printed on the back of the book. A Positive Note is more than a children's book. It is educational and an introduction to a character who goes by the name of Positive Note. Positive Note is a warm hearted fuzzy red character (musical note) from the beautiful and colorful Land of Positivity. In the Land of Positivity, everyone and everything are always positive and happy. Negativity is not an option. A Positive Note allows children to experience the love and concern of Positive Note. He goes to the World of Kids and encourages them to think, act and stay positive. Whether this book is read to a child or if they read it to themselves, they will experience something that is very familiar to them in their own personal daily lives. One of the most important parts of this book is the use of the word positive in the title of the book and as the name of the main character. This is done in order to influence the children to use the word positive as a part of their regular daily vocabulary. To help the children understand the educational part of A Positive Note, a Teacher's Guide is attached. But to bring the book to a special happy ending, the words of a happy, positive song, also entitled A Positive Note, are printed in the back. They can download the song and have a fun filled sing along. I welcome you to an experience of a lifetime from The Land of Positivity in A Positive Note.
