Pen Name: None Connection to Illinois: Sigle was born and raised in Springfield. She attended Sacred Heart Griffin High School and earned my Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Illinois Springfield. Biography: Maria Sigle worked for a local FOX television affiliate-WRSP/WCCU as a reporter and talk show host while she was in college. During that time, she also worked as a model and spokesperson for various companies throughout the U.S. and Canada. It was this amazingly fun time in her life that inspired her series; ''Marley Parker''.
